These terms apply when you book a social, class, course, trip, festival pass, private event, gift voucher or membership with Estrella Dance. Please read them before you book.

About us

Estrella Dance is a trading name of Claphmont Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16912791), registered office Flat 10 Thistle House, 4 Bicknell Way, London SW17 0FD. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Estrella Dance. You can contact us at info@estrelladance.com.

Booking

Your booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email. Tickets for socials and events are sold on our website and paid by card through Stripe, whose own terms also apply. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. [CONFIRM]

Socials and events

Please arrive on time for taster classes. We may refuse entry or ask anyone to leave whose behaviour makes others feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Events are 18+ unless stated otherwise. [CONFIRM]

Classes and courses

Courses run for the number of weeks shown. Missed classes cannot be refunded, but [you may join the same lesson in another group where space allows]. If you are unsure of your level, ask us and we will help you choose. [CONFIRM]

Cancellations and refunds

Our cancellation and refund rules are on the Cancellation and refunds page.

If we cancel or make a major change, we will offer you a full refund or a place at another date.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Dance trips and festival trips

Festival passes bought from a festival’s own website follow that festival’s terms. Please make sure you have valid travel documents and suitable travel insurance. [CONFIRM]

Private events

Gift vouchers

Vouchers are valid for [12] months from the date of purchase, can be used by anyone, and cannot be exchanged for cash. [CONFIRM]

Membership and the app

Memberships renew every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. [CONFIRM] Accounts are personal; please do not share your sign-in.

Health and safety

Dancing is a physical activity. Please tell your instructor about any injury or condition that may affect you, and dance within your limits. [CONFIRM]

Photos and videos

We may take photos and videos at our events for our website and social media. If you prefer not to appear, please tell a member of the team on the night. [CONFIRM]

Our responsibility to you

We take reasonable care to run safe, well-organised events. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
